If you've been searching high and low for the perfect plus size swimwear, look no further! Every year, I grow my swimwear army and collect the best suits around. Now, I'm showing you where I get them!
I am really hoping we start seeing the high waisted trend start getting a little lower (I'm ready for BELLIES OUT!), but right now the high waist suit reigns! And, since we're almost into May, it's time to get shopping!!! Thank goodness we're not stuck in ill-fitting tankinis and one pieces that squeeze us so hard we can't breath. Options are increasing, and this post is gonna tell you all about them! Let's dive in!!!!
Shein
Shein has come pretty far in the last several years. When I ordered from them 5 years ago the sizes were all over the place and barely fit – today they're fairly consistent and offer a TON of options at SUPER low prices. Like really cheap plus size swimwear ya'll! Give yourself some serious time to scope out this site!
CoEdition
CoEdition is a fairly new site for plus size brands. They cater to the affordable luxury market and carry some really cool brands that you cant find in a lot of other places. Lime Ricky and Alpine Butterfly can both be found on their sites. Alpine Butterfly goes up to 6x (and is one of my favorite swimwear brands), and many of their other brands go up to 3x. Prices start around $40. You can get 20% off your purchase with code FATGIRLFLOW20!
Eloquii
Eloquii is blowing me away with their new swim line. I've got to try a few of these and I am completely obsessed! Better yet? They go up to size 28! I have high hopes for where this swimwear line is going and it's bright bold future!
Target
Affordable, available, accessible. Target's line of women's plus size swimwear has a style for anybody and they continue to add new styles all the time. Over the last several years their designs have become more fun and stylish, and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds! Prices starting at $20.
Avenue
If you're looking for well made tankinis or something that covers you up a bit more, Avenue is your spot. Classic styles, with lots of options for shorts and belly-covering modest suits. Sizes from 14-32 and prices start around $25.
Torrid
Stepping up their game this year, Torrid has some really cute suits that are unique and fun! Best of all, these suits go up to a 5x. Prices start at about $75.
Modcloth
If you're a funky vintage-loving, retro, beach going babe you're going to love what they've got! Lots of one piece options with low-cut leg styles that are so cute! One of their suits is what was my "gateway" into the bikini world. It gave me tons of confidence and made me feel great being back in a bathing suit after many years, so I have a special place in my heart for them. Sizes up to 4X and prices around $75.
SwimsuitsForAll
With the inclusion of Gabi Fresh's amazing line, Swimsuitsforall has taken the fatkini world by storm. They have every imaginable style of swimwear available, in a wide array of colors and patterns. Celebs like Ashley Graham keep their lines fresh by creating new collections each year. Sizes go from 8-34 and prices start around $30.
Old Navy
Traditional, well-fitted, sizes that you probably know plenty about – Old Navy continuously has easy to wear suits that are affordable. Prices start around $25 and sizes are available from 1x-4x.
ASOS
If you're looking for on trend pieces that don't let size stand in the way of fashion, Asos is your go-to! They have styles that show off midriffs, frilly bits that accentuate your curves, and perfectly sweet one piece numbers too. Sizes go to 26, prices start around $15.
Lands End
Lands End is the perfect place to snag more modest pieces that are well made and still stylish. They have board shorts, swim dresses, and even swim capris up to size 26. Prices start around $30.
I'm super excited for it to get warm and for the internet to be bombarded with fat girls in swim suits!!!! I'll have some outfit posts up with my swimsuits for the season as soon as possible! Until then, happy shopping!
